The latest collaboration from Scientific Games will bring an abundance of sports to the company’s content library.

Scientific Games, a worldwide industry leader providing lottery draw games, Keno, instants, and more, announced a partnership with Inspired Entertainment that will deliver Inspired’s extensive gaming library and its life-like virtual sports titles to the SG Content Hub Partner Program.

Inspired Entertainment has a gaming footprint that includes over 50,000 machines and more than 100 websites in 35 countries, but it may be best known for its collection of virtual sports titles that provide immersive experiences to players. The virtual sports games feature football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and horse racing, with licensing from some well-known teams and leagues to foster even more realism.

“We’re pleased to welcome Inspired into our digital content distribution SG Content Hub Partner Program and further expand our relationship,” Steve Hickson, VP of Digital Games for Scientific Games, said in a news release. “Their roster of diverse and unique digital sports experiences will be of huge interest to our lottery customers.”

SG-Inspired Entertainment’s expanded deal benefits players and both brands

Scientific Games had previously partnered with Inspired to bring the company’s sports betting aggregator to SG’s sports betting customers across the globe.

This latest venture will further enhance the Scientific Games portfolio, which is already a leader in the lottery industry.

Inspired Entertainment’s virtual sports games provide realistic experiences for sports fans and are an emerging revenue stream for gaming operators around the world. Each game lasts approximately 90 seconds and provides 24/7 access to the excitement of a sporting event.

Inspired Entertainment’s virtual sports titles are a diverse collection that ranges from more traditional sports to less mainstream events, such as cricket, E-sports, and greyhound racing. Inspired has also obtained licensing from the NFL for a new football title, V-Play NFL.

Brooks Pierce, President and CEO of Inspired Entertainment, said in the press release:

“Joining the SG Content Hub was a strategic step forward in our overall game plan to broaden the global reach of our exciting virtual sports content. We’re thrilled to bring the virtual sports experience to iLottery players globally through this partnership.”

Scientific Games acquires multiple partnerships, awards this quarter

The company, which has more than 3,000 employees and a presence in over 50 countries worldwide, recently reached agreements to provide products and support to lotteries in Louisiana, Washington, and Kansas.

Scientific Games also received recognition recently for its efforts in the workplace.
