A transatlantic partnership should help bring a bounty of new content to American players. Random State, an iLottery gaming provider based in Sweden, announced an agreement with Kentucky-based EQL Games, whose portfolio includes lottery draw games, instant options, keno, and more.

The partnership, announced via a press release this week, will help bring Random State’s iLottery content to the United States and beyond in the near future.

“We are incredibly excited about this partnership with EQL Games,” Random State COO, Adam Fonsica, said in the release. “Their expertise in the North and South American markets perfectly complements our innovative approach to lottery and gaming. Together, we will deliver a unique blend of fun and chance, pushing the boundaries of what lottery games can offer.”

EQL Games expanding US lottery gaming options

EQL Games has a presence in several states already, helping provide for the Virginia online lottery and others, including Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, and Indiana.

The company developed the first daily lottery game based on a live sporting event to be offered through a US lottery and specializes in lottery games focused on sports. These consist of options such as auto racing, football, baseball, basketball, golf, hockey, and horse racing.

EQL Games has also partnered with various sports leagues and racetracks to integrate its branding into the games and create a more realistic experience.

Brad Cummings, EQL Games’ CEO, said in the press release:

“We believe lotteries have just begun to scratch the surface of (what) iLottery products can be and our partnership with Random State is another great step in our mission to offer lotteries the best digital content available today. Our collaboration will enable us to offer a wide array of engaging and entertaining lottery products that will appeal to a broad audience of players. We look forward to seeing the positive impact our combined efforts will have on the iLottery market in the US and beyond.”

EQL extends lottery reach with recent agreements

EQL has further expanded its operations in the lottery industry in recent months. In April, EQL Games reached a deal with the Virginia Lottery to provide instant iLottery games for the state.

Existing EQL partnerships with NeoPollard Interactive and Pariplay (a NeoGames company) will help deliver the iLottery content for Virginia.

Overall, EQL has developed a niche with a lottery-only aggregator targeted at government lotteries, allowing states to use games from multiple studios with only a single point of contact.

The partnership with Random State should help EQL expand its iLottery content library and operations even further.

Random State provides a variety of games with the goal of helping operators expand their player base and enhance their entertainment offerings. It is especially known for its “Skills & Thrills” game category, which has been popular among players.
