EQL Games has inked a deal with the Virginia Lottery to provide instant iLottery games in the Commonwealth. The deal comes to Virginia via EQL Games’ partnership with Pariplay (a NeoGames company) and an agreement with NeoPollard Interactive.
The games will be delivered to Virginia online lottery players through Pariplay’s Fusion aggregation platform.
Scott Kenyon, Director of Marketing at the Virginia Lottery, said:
“As the Virginia Lottery’s newest online content provider, EQL is contributing to the expansion of our iLottery games portfolio. EQL Games’ platform allows us to access games from studios across the world, featuring game mechanics that support our ongoing strategy of acquiring new players and those looking for fresh, new gameplay experiences.”
One EQL game already available through Virginia Lottery
The first game from the partnership, one of the popular instant win game varieties, has already launched. “Drop It!” from developer Greentube went live with the VA Lottery on March 21.
The original announcement says more games will follow this year. Beyond 2024, further launches will ensue as EQL adds new games from its content aggregation platform into the mix.
“EQL Games looks forward to partnering with the Virginia Lottery on these exciting initiatives,” said Brad Cummings, CEO of EQL Games. “Our content is changing the way digital lotteries are looking at new games. We can now supply them with games from leading studios across the world and, as a result, Virginia players will now have options that will entertain them like never before.”
EQL Games expanding beyond Virginia
Virginia is just one of EQL’s recent steps into new markets and verticals. The Hoosier Lottery of Indiana recently partnered with EQL Games to bring Team USA-themed scratch-off and fast-play options to the state.
The content will offer players a chance to enjoy lottery games themed around the USA’s teams at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
