Behind a big surge from its online product, the New Hampshire Lottery set a sales record in fiscal year 2024.

New Hampshire online lottery sales were up over 25% in FY24 compared to FY23 when the state reported its yearly results on Tuesday.

That helped spark New Hampshire to $568.3 million in overall sales for the period, a 3.6% jump from the previous record set a year ago.

NH iLottery increases sales by nearly $10 million

New Hampshire introduced its iLottery platform in 2019.

Since then, there has been steady growth in its online sales:

  • FY20: $10.7 million
  • FY21: $23.7 million
  • FY22: $29.9 million
  • FY23: $37.5 million
  • FY24: $47.2 million

While the year-over-year growth is 25.9%, the iLottery sales in New Hampshire are up nearly 950% from FY19 to FY24.

Currently, New Hampshire offers online sales for its lottery draw games, as well as over 100 instant win games.

Lottery draw games perform well in FY24

For the fiscal year, New Hampshire saw its total sales grow by nearly $20 million.

The $568.3 million in sales was $19.8 million above the FY23 total of $548.5 million.

As in other states, New Hampshire saw its instant/scratch ticket sales decline year over year, but draw games helped propel it to a record campaign.

Powerball was up over 20% this year, while Megabucks nearly doubled its sales.
