One of the country’s top lottery couriers, Jackpot.com, is now an associate member of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL).

The NASPL represents 53 lottery organizations across North America. It advocates on matters of general lottery policy and leverages collaboration, communication, education, and information for the advancement of the industry.

Jackpot.com operates in five states in the US by supplying online purchases of lottery draw games and other retail options. It is the third lottery courier service to become an associate member.

“It is an absolute honor to be joining the NASPL community,” said Akshay Khanna, CEO and Co-Founder of Jackpot.com, in a press release. “As Jackpot.com continues to grow and expand its presence in additional member states, we could not be more excited to collaborate with regulators and other NASPL members to help sustain future opportunities for contributing to worthy causes and the drive towards responsible gaming.”

Jackpot.com features iCap certification unlike other lottery services

Jackpot.com is currently active in five states: Arkansas, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, and Texas.

Of the available couriers, Jackpot.com is the only one with iCap certification from the National Council on Problem Gambling.

Becoming an associate member of the NASPL allows a company to have its voice heard in the lottery industry. Members participate in a number of aspects of the association and provide feedback on many topics.

NASPL Director of Partner Relations, Jake Coy, expressed his joy to add Jackpot.com in the press release:

“NASPL is pleased to have Jackpot.com as an associate member; and look forward to working with them throughout the year and beyond.”

First launched in 2016, Jackpot.com has three co-founders in Khanna, Roi Moore, and Yarvi Ron. However, it also has a lot of investment support from professional sports franchises and ownerships.

The application received investments from the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and San Francisco 49ers. It also has investments from the Tisch family (co-owners of the New York Giants), the Haslam Sports Group (owners of the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew), and Kraft Sports & Entertainment (owners of the New England Patriots).

On top of that, it secured financial support from Fanatics founder Michael Rubin, as well as NBA stars Joel Embiid and James Harden.

NASPL includes over 40 associate members

Jackpot.com is the third lottery courier service to become an associate member of the NASPL.

Jackpocket joined as an associate member back in October 2018. Lotto.com started its membership in September 2023.

Overall, the NASPL advertises having 41 different associate members.

These include the major players in states with online lotteries, as well as retail lotteries. Gaming providers like IGT, Pollard Banknote, Scientific Games, Intralot, Allwyn, NeoGames, and more are involved, too.

Associate memberships actually have different levels within the NASPL. Jackpocket is a Level III member, while Lotto.com and Jackpot.com are Level V. The Level V memberships actually have fewer benefits than Level III.

According to the NASPL, Level III benefits include multiple registrations for the NASPL Annual Conference, professional development seminars, and access to the Lottery Leadership Institute.
