Lottery ticket purchasing app Jackpot.com has launched in Arkansas, making it the fifth state the app is now live in.

Jackpot.com gives customers the ability to securely buy official state lottery tickets and collect winnings on their phone, desktop, or tablet.

Arkansas joins Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, and Texas as states to now offer Jackpot.com.

Jackpot.com works independently from state lotteries

Jackpot.com is a third-party application and website. It’s different from traditional lottery apps in that it operates independently from the state lotteries. Instead, it facilitates the purchase of regular state lottery tickets online in the states it has agreements with.

Customers order their lottery tickets through Jackpot.com from their phone, tablet, or computer. They pick the game they wish to play, select their numbers, and pay for their tickets.

Jackpot.com then purchases the tickets on their behalf from an authorized lottery dealer.

Players will receive a scan of the tickets they purchased in their private account, verifying they purchased the tickets and have ownership of them.

If you have a winning ticket, Jackpot.com notifies you and your winnings will be transferred into your account. If you win a major prize, Jackpot.com will securely deliver your ticket for you to take to a lottery office.

Jackpot.com promises a safe and secure experience using its platform. It promotes an experienced security team to safeguard your personal information and make sure your tickets are yours and yours alone.

Jackpot.com to offer 5 Arkansas Lottery options

Arkansas is the second state to bring Jackpot.com into its lotto sales this year. Massachusetts went live with the application in January.

Jackpot.com will offer Powerball, Mega Millions, LOTTO, Natural State Jackpot, and Lucky for Life tickets in Arkansas. More games are expected to be included in the future from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Jackpot.com CEO and co-founder Akshay K. Khanna said in a press release:

“We’re thrilled to announce Jackpot.com’s launch in the Natural State. Jackpot.com is happy to help Arkansas lottery players order official state lottery tickets online with increased safety, security and convenience. At Jackpot.com, we’re always striving to increase accessibility and elevate the player experience by making it more convenient and secure for players to order lottery tickets, ensuring players don’t lose a winning ticket.”

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, which was founded in 2009, has generated over $1.3 billion in scholarship proceeds. It funds several scholarships awarded annually by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.

“We’re excited to welcome Jackpot.com, our third courier in the state to Arkansas. They will be operating through their retail location, Lucky Choice, in Little Rock,” said Eric Hagler, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery executive director. “These couriers make playing lottery for our players more convenient. Our players enjoy options and Jackpot.com gives them another avenue for playing our games.”

As an independent gambling operation, Jackpot.com boasts that it sets a new standard in responsible gaming. It uses safety guardrails that are current with today’s digital platforms.

Jackpot has default limits on daily deposits, while also having options for customers to set spend limits. Self-exclusion and self-suspension options are also available for customers who believe they are exhibiting problematic behavior.

Jackpot provides access to local and national RG resources, as well.

Jackpot.com backed by multiple pro sports owners

First launched in 2016, Jackpot.com has three co-founders in Khanna, Roi Moore, and Yarvi Ron. However, it has a lot of investment support from professional sports franchises and ownerships.

The application has received investments from the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and San Francisco 49ers. It also has investments from the Tisch family (co-owners of the New York Giants), the Haslam Sports Group (owners of the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew), and Kraft Sports & Entertainment (owners of the New England Patriots).

On top of that, it secured financial support from Fanatics founder Michael Rubin, as well as NBA stars Joel Embiid and James Harden.
