Viking Voyage Instant Game
Adventure is on the horizon in every round of Viking Voyage, an instant game from the Virginia Lottery with conquest and rewards at its forefront.
Navigating the seas and coastlines of foreign lands will connect Your Numbers with the Winning Numbers to deliver untold riches into your possession. Multiplier symbols and runic bonus symbols activate a bonus game that carries rewards to even greater heights! Earn your place in the halls of Valhalla and ascend as the equal of legendary heroes in Viking Voyage.
How to play
Beginning your Viking Voyage in search of riches is no small feat, but an easy one nonetheless.
Get started by determining how many plays to activate on your journey. Players will have the option to activate between five and 20 plays in increments of five 5.
Beyond that, one needs to determine the cost of their entry. Determine how much to spend using the ticket cost field to increase or decrease that amount at individual play values between $0.05 and $2.00.
Once this has been squared away, all that’s left is to click or tap the vibrant Play button.
When the game begins, a selection of five Winning Numbers will appear at the top of the ticket, followed by five, 10, 15 or 20 Your Numbers, depending on how many plays have been activated.
Match as many of these two numbers to receive the corresponding prize. More than one prize can be won in any round, and bonus features will enable additional game mechanics to drive prizes even higher. Matching numbers are removed from the Your Numbers field, and a cascade of new symbols fall to take their place, leaving room for more numbers to be matched and prizes to be won.
Revealing a multiplier symbol within the Your Numbers area will multiply the displayed prize amount by that much and then award the total to the player in the event of a winning match. Your Numbers that result in a match will be removed from the game board and a cascade of new numbers will fall into place to fill the empty spaces that remain. This means multiple opportunities for wins can take place one after another with no limit on how many prizes can be won.
Bonus symbols are another excellent addition to the game. Revealing between three and five bonus symbols in the same round will unlock the bonus game according to the following scheme:
- Revealing exactly three bonus symbols unlocks the 10-coin bonus game only.
- Revealing exactly four bonus symbols unlocks the 20-coin bonus game only.
- Revealing exactly five bonus symbols unlocks the 30-coin bonus game only.
During the bonus game, players will be presented with a 3×3 grid of symbol positions into which the first round of numbers will fall into place. Any bonus symbols that appear will be removed from the board and added to the Coins Collected total.
Each removed symbol will see another new symbol fall into its place. When no more bonus symbols are collected, that round ends and a new one begins until all coins are exhausted. Opportunities for multipliers also exist in the bonus game, ranging from 10 to 30 according to the following scheme:
- In the 10-coin bonus game, the total multiplier is the total coins collected multiplied by 10.
- In the 20-coin bonus game, the total multiplier is the total coins collected multiplied by 20.
- In the 30-coin bonus game, the total multiplier is the total coins collected multiplied by 30.
Once all coins have been used, the game ends and any prizes won are awarded to the player.
Wagering options
Viking Voyage offers players ticket values ranging from $0.05 to $2.00 for a total of six available wagering options. Additionally, there are four plays options to take advantage of, leaving a much wider range of customization available to fit any player’s budget.
