The Rhode Island Lottery has just released an eInstant game built with outdoor adventurers in mind. Striving to reach the pinnacle of performance in Payout Peak will deliver a potential windfall of up to $35,000 in a single round. eInstant game: Payout Peak
Giving players a path to distinction, the Rhode Island Lottery’s latest eInstant game will allow anyone with grit and drive to plant their flag at the top of Payout Peak. Collect symbols on the ascent to increase the amount of money earned as the rounds progress.
By climbing and descending strategically, players will be able to collect symbols in return for the renown they crave, as well as the cash prize that comes with it.
Unique power-up and bonus symbols will further enhance the experience, with dynamic minigames and additional paths to earn more rewards on the way to the top.
As players make their way to the summit, power-ups, gems, random gear and bonus symbols are waiting to be collected. Climbing while the sun is shining and the weather is calm makes the game seem like a breeze. However, once the wind picks up, players may find it difficult to remain on the near-vertical terrain.
The rounds are treacherous, and each new climb is fraught with obstacles and peril. Few climbers make it to the top, but those who do bask in glory and fortune far above the clouds.
How to play
Payout Peak lives up to its name, as players are presented with a snowy mountain to conquer in every round.
Fortunately, players won’t need to purchase and climbing gear of their own, nor will they have to face some of the world’s most dangerous climbing conditions.
All you have to do is purchase a ticket to Payout Peak for your chance to become king or queen of the mountain.
Each new round begins with a prompt to select the ticket cost. Use the – and + symbols to decrease or increase, respectively, the price of entry.
Once the ticket cost has been settled, click the green Play button to be on your way.
Players will start with the standard climber avatar. However, through collecting symbols during multiple rounds, new, more-experienced climbers can be unlocked.
Each round begins with eight climbs, which act like a die being rolled to determine how many spaces the climber moves up the mountainside. With 80 spaces in all, there is more than enough ground to cover and plenty that can happen between base and peak that will lead to fortune — or misfortunate. Reach the 80th space at the top of the mountain to claim the grand prize of up to $35,000.
Players can initiate each climb individually or all at once by using the Auto Climb feature. Additional climbs may be unlocked on the journey, which improves the player’s chances of reaching the summit.
Up arrow symbols will allow players to make great strides with the assistance of a grappling hook that bypasses a huge swath of the mountain face. Rockfall symbols have the opposite effect and send the climber tumbling down the sheer rock cliffs. Collect four of either symbol to win an instant prize.
Gems may also be collected along the way. Collecting at least four will qualify the player for a modest prize, while collecting eight will increase that prize amount significantly.
Stopping at the mine symbols on the way up will unlock either the Cave Bonus or the Compass Bonus rounds.
In the Cave Bonus, players will select from stones to reveal a hidden prize.
The Compass Bonus will see players navigate from instant prize to instant prize before landing on a Collect symbol. Once that’s found, all prize money is awarded and the standard game resumes.
Wagering levels
There are six ticket values for players to choose from when enjoying an outing on Payout Peak. Ticket values range from $1 to $20. Prizes range from $1 up to $35,000.
Overall odds in Payout Peak are 1 in 3.00. This means players have a 1 in 3 chance to return from their expedition with cash in hand.
