Rhode Island Lottery Releases New eInstant Game: Midas Match

The Rhode Island Lottery has given fans a new game in which to go for gold in Midas Match. This game lives up to its name, rewarding players who can match symbols with gold coins that translate into real cash with every win.

eInstant game: Midas Match

With an ancient theme built around the myth of King Midas, players enjoying a round of Midas Match will find there is more to this game than a historical account.

Based on the man who turned everything he touched to gold, Midas Match gives players 16 opportunities to match symbols for a corresponding prize. The shimmering silver placeholders fall away to reveal many thematic symbols of ancient Greece. These symbols include laurel wreaths, masks of comedy and tragedy, food, drink, scrolls, bangles, harps and armaments.

Gold coins revealed on the ticket will unlock a unique bonus game where players can earn even bigger rewards. Explore all this game has to offer as you climb your way to a top prize of up to $50,000.

How to play

Midas Match begins with the purchase of a ticket. Players can buy theirs in an array of denominations ranging from just a few cents to some serious scratch. Use the + and – provided to raise or lower the ticket value until you find one that fits your budget.

Once ready, click Try to assign the game’s 16 symbols. Players can reveal each symbol individually by clicking or tapping onto it directly. Alternatively, tapping or clicking the Reveal All button will uncover all symbol positions at once.

All a player needs to do in order to win is reveal three identical symbols anywhere on the ticket. The matched symbols will award a corresponding prize. Multiple wins can be scored on a single ticket, which makes for massive winning potential.

Midas Match bonuses

Bonus rounds add another level of depth to Midas Match. Revealing a gold coin ensures players will walk away from the round with a little jingle in their pocket. In the Gold Coin Bonus, players click to reveal all the prizes hidden behind these coins for a veritable treasure trove.

Revealing the gold wheel unlocks a bonus by the same name. This bonus prompts the player to spin a prize wheel. Whatever prize is indicated by the marker when the wheel comes to rest will be awarded to the player immediately. After prize amounts have been awarded, the game ends and the player returns to the standard feature.

Wagering levels

There are six ticket values for players to choose from in a round of Midas Match. Values for those tickets range from $1 to $20. Prizes range from $1 up to $50,000, depending on the player’s ticket value.

Overall odds in Midas Match are 1 in 3.50. This means players have a better than 1 in 4 chance to walk away from every round with a cash prize.
