eInstant Game: Money Island
There is no limit to the excitement waiting to be had on the high seas in a game of Money Island from the Rhode Island Lottery. Dig up treasure chests, battle pirates and endure the battering waves of the sea with shanties and merriment in endless supply.
The addition of two bonus rounds further increases the winning potential any time you play a game of Money Island.
How to play
Boarding the ship and setting out for a new adventure in Money Island is an easy feat to accomplish.
To begin, you need only to set the value of your ticket. Use the – and + symbols at the bottom of the game screen to decrease or increase the ticket value, respectively. Once you’ve decided on the ticket value, all that’s left to do is click or tap the golden Play button to start.
In the beginning, you’ll find yourself on a tropical island. Littered across the sandy beach before you will be 16 treasure chest symbols and a selection countdown. Click or tap these chests to open them, revealing success or failure.
You’ll have eight selections available in all. Each selection you make will reveal an instant prize, a bonus symbol or an empty chest.
Once all selections have been made, the player’s prize total is added to their winnings. If three or more bonus symbols appear, the player will unlock the corresponding bonus game.
With the cannon bonus, you set sail on the open ocean. Players who unlock this bonus game will fire down on attacking ships with a click or a tap. Each ship struck will reveal a prize amount, a multiplier or a collect symbol. Fire at will until the collect symbol is found. Once it appears, prizes are awarded and the game is over.
The island bonus presents the player with a series of five treasure maps. Within each treasure map, several locations can be clicked or tapped to reveal coins. Unlock the next treasure map by successfully finding the number of coins required to progress. Players will have two opportunities to uncover coins among the maps’ nine locations. The game is over when there are not enough coins found to progress to the next treasure map.
Wagering levels
There are six ticket values for players to choose from when playing a game of Money Island. Ticket values range from $1 to $20. Prizes range from $1 up to $40,000.
Overall odds in Money Island are 1 in 3.00. This means players have a better than 1 in 3 chance to collect a cash prize during any round of play at any ticket value.
Prize quantities are set according to a predefined session, after which the lottery resets prizes available in the designated division. Only so many prizes in each division are available in the current interval. These values represent prizes for the game at the time of writing this review and will reset at regular intervals set by the Rhode Island Lottery.
