The Pennsylvania Lottery is kicking off its latest promotion for players, the Big Game Second-Chance Drawing.
This promotion is offering players a chance to win what the organization calls “An Ultimate Trip & Prize Package to Pro Football’s Biggest Game of the Year!” As part of the second-chance drawing, a total of eight winners will be awarded a trip for two that includes:
- Round-trip airfare
- Hotel accommodations for four nights
- $1,000 spending money
- Tickets to the 2022 Championship Game
- Tickets to four special events hosted by the Pro Football Hall of Fame
An additional two winners will receive the same package as part of an online-only draw promotion taking place in September 2021.
How to participate
To participate, players will need to purchase a qualifying Pennsylvania Lottery ticket for the second-chance drawing. That ticket can be one that has awarded a prize amount to the player or not.
Qualifying tickets include:
- PICK 2
- PICK 3
- PICK 4
- PICK 5
- Treasure Hunt
- Cash 5 with Quick Cash
- Match 6
- Cash4Life®
- Powerball®
- Mega Millions®
- Keno ticket
Tickets must be purchased between Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, and Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, to be eligible. As part of the promotion, registration to the Pennsylvania Lottery VIP Players Club is required for entry. This is so the Lottery has an email address by which it can notify participants in the event they win a prize.
A 25-digit alphanumeric Official Entry Code will be displayed on each qualifying ticket. Entries are based on the purchase price and will be awarded upon submission.
Draw Game tickets purchased online are excluded from the promotion. However, there will be a separate prize drawing for a chance to win tickets to Pro Football’s Biggest Game of the Year. This drawing will be conducted between Sept. 2 and Sept. 29, 2021. As part of the September promotion, only Draw Game tickets purchased online will be eligible. Two lucky winners will be awarded the same Big Game promotion prize package as a result of the final Online Draw Game tickets drawing.
Players who want to be considered for the second-chance drawing are required to scan the barcode on the front of their ticket using the free PA Lottery Official App or by manually entering the 25-digit code on the official Pennsylvania Lottery webpage. The barcode can also be scanned using the official Pennsylvania Lottery app on the player’s Apple iOS or Android mobile device.
As an added incentive to participate, randomly submitted qualifying tickets will also be awarded a 10x entry multiplier.
There is no limit to the number of times that an individual may enter the promotion. All that is required is the use of qualifying, winning or nonwinning tickets that have not yet been submitted.
Late or mailed entries will not be accepted.
The Big Game Second-Chance Drawing Winner Notifications
Players can check the status of their entry at any point by logging into the Pennsylvania Lottery website or mobile app and going to the My Entries section.
In the event that a player is awarded one of the available promotion prizes, the Pennsylvania Lottery will contact them via the email address associated with their Pennsylvania VIP Players Club. The email will contain relevant information regarding any prizes won and how those prizes can be claimed, and a link to the Pennsylvania Lottery prize claim form.
To claim the prize awarded, a claim form must be filled out and returned to the Pennsylvania Lottery. If a participant is awarded Online Play Bonus Money, it will be credited to their account automatically and a notification alert will be sent to the recipient’s email address.
The original ticket is not required to be presented to claim any prize awarded as part of the promotion.
The Pennsylvania Lottery states that it will make every attempt to contact winners via email within three business days of award announcements. If a player is listed as having won a prize but has not been contacted within three days of the announcement, officials request that the prize winner contact the Lottery toll-free at 1-800-692-7481.
Winners of the Ultimate Trip & Prize Package to Pro Football’s Biggest Game of the Year in Inglewood, CA, on Feb. 13, 2022, will be announced on palottery.com, as well as on the website’s Winners page.
