The Rhode Island Lottery has several online lottery promotions running throughout September and beyond.
Below is a list of the promotions currently being offered to Rhode Island Lottery players.
Celebrate! 100 to Win $100!
The Rhode Island Lottery recently celebrated its largest eInstants payout to a player who won $100,000.
As part of the milestone, the Rhode Island Lottery is inviting all its players to celebrate alongside the Lottery.
How to participate
To be considered for a prize, players must meet the following criteria:
- Be a VIP+ Club member
- Log in and wager on Keno and/or any eInstant games on the Rhode Island Lottery website or mobile app at least one time during the promotion period. Players will be entered into the contest automatically.
- Each eligible wager made during the promotion period will receive one entry.
That’s all there is to it. Players need only to participate in Keno and eInstant games between Wednesday, Oct. 6, and Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, to be entered automatically for their chance to win $100 in iLottery Bonus Money.
One hundred winners will be drawn at the end of the promotional period and receive the $100 iLottery Bonus Money deposited directly into their player accounts. Keep in mind, Bonus Money cannot be withdrawn and can be used only for playing Rhode Island Lottery online games.

Powerball First Millionaire of the New Year!
With millions of reasons to play Powerball, what could be more convincing than the opportunity to win even bigger? As part of the Rhode Island Lottery‘s NYE promotion in conjunction with the Powerball Lottery, players are invited to play for an extra chance to win several prizes. This is the perfect opportunity to ring in the new year significantly richer.
How to participate
Players who purchase Powerball tickets through the Rhode Island Lottery between Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, and Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, can enter the contest using the second chance code on each ticket. Tickets of varying dollar values will provide a proportional number of entries. The number of entries you receive will be dependent on the dollar value of your entered ticket. Mondays offer an additional incentive to participate: Monday ticket entries are worth double for the duration of the promotional period.
To enter, submit the second chance code (serial number) from the front of each Powerball ticket through the online ticket submission page.
Prize drawings will take place Oct. 21, 2021, when 10 Rhode Island Lottery players will receive $1,000 and entry into a semifinalist drawing alongside other participating state lotteries. Then, five finalists will be entered into a drawing for a New Year’s Eve prize package and a chance to win $1,000,000. The final Powerball First Millionaire of the Year Grand Prize drawing will take place after the ball drops on New Year’s Eve.
Those five finalists will win the following New Year’s Eve Party@Home prize package:
- $10,000 cash
- Deluxe surf and turf dinner for eight people from Omaha Steaks
- 70″ LED television, including a home theater sound system and installation
- Premium 15.5″ laptop computer plus a 20-megapixel digital camera, on-camera microphone, 19″ ringlight, laptop stand and other accessories, including home setup
- $500 Party City gift certificate
- $500 premium beverage package
- Top-tier karaoke system
- Two gift bags, each with a retail value of at least $250
Add to that the Rhode Island-only Bonus Draw on New Year’s Eve for a $22,000 prize, and players have no good reason not to participate in this year’s contest.
Players interested in the $22,000 Bonus Draw prize can continue playing Powerball games and earning entries into the bonus draw up until the cutoff date of Dec. 30, 2021. This prize draw will take place on Dec. 31, 2021, and, once awarded, prizes must be claimed before Jan. 28, 2022.
The complete promotional period for Powerball First Millionaire of the New Year! is Sept. 12, 2021, to Dec. 30, 2021.

Super Ticket Super Giveaway
An ongoing opportunity to profit off your play at the Rhode Island Lottery, the Super Ticket Super Giveaway will offer the chance to win huge cash prizes and iLottery Bonus Money.
How to participate
To enter this ongoing promotion, simply enter the serial number displayed on the front of any nonwinning Big Money Super Ticket (Game #257). This is worth entry into two upcoming second chance drawings.
The first drawing will see 10 VIP players awarded cash prizes of $100, $200, $300, $400, $500, and $600, with an additional $500 in iLottery Bonus Money.
Once all winners have been drawn, each will be presented the option to select one Super Ticket from a board of 10 to reveal a prize.
The second drawing will see 10 VIP players awarded $1,000 each.
Only one household entry per drawing is allowed, and no surrogate may accept a prize on behalf of the winning player.
The promotional period will be from Aug. 13, 2021, to a date yet to be determined by the Rhode Island Lottery.
