Cash Buster Towers is a brilliantly rendered online instant lottery game from the Virginia Lottery.
A game that allows rewards to stack up, potentially ad infinitum, Cash Buster Towers provides a dynamic playing experience stuffed with special features and a $50,000 grand prize that no player can ignore.

Cash Buster Towers has a unique play style of cascading blocks that offer more rewards than meets the eye. For every winning combination of color blocks that appears on the game’s five towers, additional wins can appear, seemingly out of nowhere. The result is a game that stacks up reward after reward, building on each success the player finds during any given round.
Win multipliers, bonus games and instant prizes add to the experience and serve to drive payouts to new heights.
How to play
As with many Virginia Lottery online instant games, Cash Buster Towers requires you to buy a ticket to get started.
Players will be able to choose how many towers to activate and how valuable those tickets — in this case, towers — are before getting started.
To set yourself up for success, activate a tower by using the + and – symbols under the Towers heading. Increase or decrease the number of towers, with the option to leverage anywhere from one to five towers per round.
Once you know how many towers you want to activate, move down to the Tower Cost heading and again use the + and – symbols to increase or decrease, respectively, the value of a tower. The total cost of entry to the game is equal to the number of towers activated multiplied by the value of a tower. Once that’s settled, you’re ready to get started. Just click or tap the big green Play button to fill the tower with randomly colored blocks.
Match at least three identical color blocks to explode the combination and win the corresponding prize amount. All blocks above the exploded group will cascade down to fill in the void. New blocks will fall from the top of the tower and potentially reveal additional wins. This process can continue to award prizes, multipliers and other special features. After the explosions cease, the game is over and prizes are awarded.

Any tower’s winning combination of blocks that includes a color block with a star embossed on its surface will increase the win multiplier of that tower by x1. All wins that take place on that tower will be multiplied by the amount displayed.
Whenever there are three lightning bolts touching in a single tower, hyper plays are activated. These hyper plays act as free games. Players can win five, 10 or 15 at once. These rounds will be played automatically, and any winnings during them will be awarded at their conclusion.
Five arrows appearing anywhere across the board of towers will award an instant prize. The prize amount will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
Lastly, revealing three bonus symbols anywhere in the game during regular play will unlock the bonus game. In this game, three portals will appear. The amount of play remaining will be displayed below each portal. Press Go to proceed with the bonus round. Each time Go is pressed, a portal will open to reveal one of the following:
- Blank space – When nothing appears, nothing is awarded. That said, nothing is taken away, either.
- A prize amount – Whatever the prize amount is, the total value will be added to the prize total for the entire bonus game.
- A multiplier – The multiplier amount gets added to the multiplier total, which is applied to the prize total at the end of the bonus game.
- Extra — This adds the displayed number of plays to the plays remaining number for the portal in which it was revealed. Once the number of plays remaining reaches 0, the portal is deactivated. A portal can be reactivated if another portal shows an extra symbol when it opens.
The bonus game is over once the plays remaining for all portals reaches 0. Win multipliers are then applied to the prize total, which is then awarded to the player.
Wagering levels
Cash Buster Towers gives players plenty of choices when it comes to customizing their wager. Activating up to five towers and selecting one of nine tower values provides considerable customization. Tower values range from $0.10 to $10. The overall breakdown of ticket costs is illustrated in the table below.
